Today was a nice and quiet day. I'm happy I got to do another scrapbook page today. I used some old papers from a long time ago, and I found this Got Sketch? sketch dated back in 2008. It was easy to follow as I created my layout. It was fun.

I hope you had a good Sunday too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sibling Love

I had a good time creating this layout as a part of the online crop night with my girlfriends last night. This was what I came up with!

This layout was inspired by the challenge, Case No. 162, found on the CSI: Colours, Stories, Inspiration website, and I used the sketch (dated January 19, 2011) found on the Shimelle website. As  one of "evidences" in the challenge, I was supposed to write a quote and hide it somewhere on the layout, but I didn't want to do that. This quote, written by Paula Rollo, was too good to hide! There was another thing - it was somewhat awkward having to include an evidence of "something transparent". So what I used wasn't the best, but I didn't want to avoid using it for the layout. Why not?! That's the whole point of the "challenge", right?!

Last night was fun. Thanks Sharlene and Laureen! :)

We love COFFEE

I actually finished this double-page layout in early March, but I never got around to "finalizing" it until earlier this afternoon. I don't usually do the double-page layouts, but I'm surprised how it turned out. Todd and I love Spanish coffee! This is a great way to document our love for coffee! Yummy!

Laugh

I wanted to do a layout a bit differently than usual. That's using the stencils and spray mists, and making chevrons. This took me a little longer to complete it because of that plus the sketch I chose to follow was once again very simple. Simplicity is always indeed a challenge for me! I'm happy with the outcome. My DH is very pleased with it too! <3

Thanks Brenshevia for sharing sketch with the Stick it Down under "Single Page Sketches" tab.

Thank you for visiting here.

Life is Sweet

It looks like I am in a scrapbook-a-thon for past few days! It is NOT usual for me to actually create 3 layouts within such a short timeframe! I'm STOKED! Scrapbooking rocks!

Here's another layout I did last night! This lady is a good friend of mine, and she's special. It was her birthday a couple of years ago, and I thought the picture was too pretty to be put away in the photo albums awaiting to be forgotten. So here you go!

Thanks ScrapMuch? for sharing your sketch!

Off I go creating a 4th layout today! This one will take a bit longer... stay tuned :)

Summer Time (2012)

Here's a completed layout I've been meaning to do a long time ago. My children are already older and taller now... it was fun doing this because it made me remember the good times when they were a bit younger. They appreciated simple things in life at that time such as just laughing, splashing and swimming in the pool. Time is so precious, and they come and go very quickly! I am determined to make sure we get together and swim as a family more often this upcoming summer!

I followed a sketch designed by Susan Stringfellow when I made this layout.

I used the TPC Studio papers, and they're so colourful I just love them! I used the Cricut cartridge "H20" to cut the goggles, beach ball and sun. They're neat and easy to make!

Thanks for stopping by.

Peace

As I'm trying to get back in sync with my scrapbooking hobby lately, I visited a friend's blog and saw this sketch. I instantly knew I have one perfect picture to go with this sketch because of its amazingly simplicity! So I did it right away! That felt so good! Here you go!

Thank you Sharlene and Laura for the inspiration!
